Welcome To The Adjustment Identity and Racism Lab (AIR)!
Adjustment, Identity, and Racism are concepts that pervade society and influence everyday interaction like the very air we breathe.
What We Do
Most of our research falls under the three categories in our title but also includes topics such substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and the implications of certain identity characteristics.

Our research uses both qualitative and quantitative approaches to test hypotheses. Much of our current research uses survey based methods in order to gather data from participants.

We are a relatively new lab but seek to make a substantial impact on Psychological research here at Oregon State University and on the broader academic community.
